Some of the GAA's finest young talent is off to Florida for the start of the AFL's latest training camp in America.

In total, 33 hopefuls will be put through their paces at the camp, including Kilkenny's Darragh Joyce, Galway's Cillian McDaid and Westmeath's Ray Connellan

After an eight-day camp at the IMG Academy in Florida, the players will spend four days in Santa Monica.

Any of the three aforementioned players would be a huge loss to their respective counties: Joyce captained the Kilkenny hurlers to All-Ireland MHC glory in 2014; Connellan broke into the Westmeath senior team last year and helped his county to a historic first-ever championship win over neighbours Meath; and McDaid represented Galway in both codes at minor level in 2015, winning an All-Ireland with the hurlers.
