Wexford will have a better idea where they stand, according to Keith Rossiter, following Sunday's quarter-final clash against Kilkenny.

The 30-year-old knows they will enter the contest as underdogs but expects the run to benefit them in the long run.

"Look, Kilkenny are Kilkenny, they are always the one to beat," Rossister said to the Irish Daily Star.

"It'll be a good test for a young team in a meaningful match.

"Kilkenny seem to be moving very well and it will give is a good reading where we are.

"God only know what team will line out against us.

"He (Brian Cody) seems to have blooded a lot of players, lost a couple of games and won a few, but he is exactly where he wants to be.

"It's not over until the final whistle and how many games do they snatch in the final minutes?

"No-one will probably give us a chance but we'll have 25 lads going out to do a job. It will give us a great reading of where we are going into the Championship."
