Video: Camogie finalists relish the big stage

Players from Cork and Wexford were united today in welcoming the decision to play the Irish Daily Star National League Division 1 final at Semple Stadium on Sunday, before the Allianz HL Division 1 final.

"It's a great opportunity to play before the hurling final and it should be a great experience," said Karen Atkinson from Wexford, who are going for four league titles in succession.

Cork will compete in both finals and Julie White hopes the Rebel County supporters will turn up early: "It's great to be playing in front of a big crowd and I think Cork can win both games."

Camogie President Aileen Lawlor declared herself 'absolutely delighted' with the double header and encouraged supporters to take advantage of a discount offer by buying tickets online through camogie.ie
