Wexford footballers are sweating over the fitness of goalkeeper Anthony Masterson and defender Niall Murphy.

The Model County take on Longford in the division 3 final at Croke Park on Saturday afternoon and manager Jason Ryan will be hoping to have both players available for the decider.

Masterson is struggling to overcome a back injury, while Murphy was injured while playing for his club in the intermediate football championship last weekend.

Should Masterson fail to recover in time for the final, then Ryan will turn to Kilanerin shot stopper Tom Hughes. Tweet
