Masterson puts mistake behind him

Castletown keeper Anthony Masterson
Anthony Masterson won't be dwelling on his goalkeeping blunder which cost Wexford so dearly in last year's Leinster final against Dublin when he returns to Croke Park on Saturday for an Allianz Football League Division 3 final showdown with Longford.
"I haven't thought of it - that's just the way I am, I haven't dwelt on it," the Castletown clubman told the Irish Sun.
"Maybe if I got back to a Leinster final, I might feel a chance to redeem myself. But I don't feel anything like that and won't be thinking of it before Saturday.
"Last season is gone and I have played so many games since it is out of the system. I lost a county final with my club last year and that was just as disappointing.
"As a goalkeeper, you have to learn to deal with these things and move on from them. It was just one of those things and nine times out of 10, that ball would have gone somewhere else. It's important as a goalkeeper to have a strong focus - I have."
Masterson explains that Wexford are just one step away from achieving one of their pre-season objectives.
"Every team sits down and sets out goals," he continued.
"Ours were to win promotion and win Division 3 - we are one game away now. Some people might say it is only a Division 3 league title but in Wexford, we are not laden down with silverware and we are going up there to win it.
"We won our division in 2003 in Parnell Park and there weren't that many steps to climb up. But it would be just brilliant if we could win at Croke Park and watch the cup being presented in the Hogan Stand."
