Financial woes: Croke Park may step in
January 26, 2012The County Board disclosed a fortnight ago that Wexford was in economic dire straits but it has also emerged that the county overshot its Croke Park allocation by half a million Euro last year.
Wexford GAA presented Croke Park with a budget of EUR1.5m for 2011 but actually spent EUR2m.
Naturally, this has had a massive negative impact on cash flow in the county and questions are going to have to answered as to how this situation was allowed to materialise. Tweet
