The Wexford team to play Galway in the first round of the Allianz HL Division 1 has a new look about it with five new faces on show.

Niall Breen from the Tara Rocks takes over the goal with Matthew O'Hanlon from St. James' making his league start at full back. Colin Farrell is joined at midfield by newcomer Brendan Doyle from the Glynn-Barntown club with Keith Burke from Buffers Alley also getting a call up for the full forward position.

The Oulart-The Ballagh pair of Paul Roche and Darren Stamp are included following their exploits with their club in the Leinster championship. Wexford are without the services of a number of key players through injury so this is an opportunity for young up and coming players to make their mark.

Wexford (Allianz HL v Galway) - Niall Breen, Paul Roche, Matthew O'Hanlon, Brendan Hobbs, Richie Kehoe, Darren Stamp, Ciarán Kenny, Colm Farrell, Brendan Doyle, PJ Nolan, Tomás Waters, Stephen Banville, Peter Atkinson, Keith Burke, Jim Berry.
