Wexford County Board can begin work on the Centre of Excellence at Ferns after they received planning permission from the local authority.

However, they must wait eight weeks before work can actually commence on the green field site, which is one of the most ambitious projects undertaken by the county board.

Already the county board have spent €2.5 million on the site, while a further €3 million is expected to be spent on the development. Tweet
