Wexford keeper Damien Fitzhenry
Wexford manager Colm Bonnar revealed that he is still in the dark over the inter-county future of long serving goalkeeper Damien Fitzhenry.

The National Hurling League begins on Sunday week and as of yet Fitzhenry has not returned to training nor has he been in touch for the last three weeks with regards to whether he will return or not.

Bonnar stressed that no pressure would be put on the 35-year-old and that he was waiting for the Duffry Rovers clubman to get in touch with him.

"We would love to have him back but he is still pondering his future which we understand," said Bonnar. "We are not applying any pressure, so we are just awaiting the call from Damien."

Wexford begin their league campaign away to Westmeath as they begin life in division two for the second consecutive season.
