Wexford's Darren Stamp
Wexford manager Colm Bonnar has confirmed that Darren Stamp will be available for the All-Ireland hurling qualifier clash with Limerick on July 11.
The Oulart-the-Ballagh clubman missed Wexford's Leinster SHC outings against Offaly and Dublin with a thigh muscle injury he sustained in the NHL Division 2 final defeat to the Faithful County, but made a return to training on Tuesday night.
Bonnar said: "It's great to have Darren back. And with over two weeks to go to the match against Limerick, hopefully he will be make sufficient improvement in his fitness and sharpness to be available for selection."
The former Tipperary star also expects to have Keith Rossiter back for the Wexford Park showdown, while the calf muscle injury sustained by full forward Stephen Banville against Dublin last Sunday isn't thought to be serious.
"Keith has made an excellent recovery from the groin operation which he had last December, and we had him on the bench for last Sunday's game. So it's very beneficial to have two experienced and talented hurlers as Keith and Darren pushing the other lads for places on the starting XV for the Limerick game."
