Kernan and Griffin to host upcoming Museum tours

Following on from a very successful start to the GAA Museum's 125th Anniversary Legends Tour Series the GAA Museum will stage a further two Legends Tours in the coming weeks. Already Brian Mullins, Babs Keating, Jimmy Magee and Colm O'Rourke to name but a few have shared their GAA highlights, memories and anecdotes on special behind-the-scenes tours of Croke Park. Next up are former Armagh Footballer and Manager Joe Kernan and Wexford hurling Legend Liam Griffin who will take centre stage on two further Legends Tours. On Saturday 4th July Joe Kernan will host the 7th Legends tour in the popular series. The Orchard county boss will share the memories of his playing days and his time spent leading the Armagh county football team. Museum visitors will have a unique opportunity to walk the halls of Croker with the man who led Armagh to their first ever All-Ireland Senior football title. The following Saturday, 11th July, Liam Griffin will join staff of the GAA Museum as he hosts one of the final Legends Tours this year. Liam's tour is a must for Wexford hurling fans who will be treated to Griffin's memories of how he led his native Wexford from the hurling doldrums to unprecedented All-Ireland success in 1996. The series of tours will draw to a close in August with Eugene McGee and Anthony Daly hosting the final tours on Thursday 6th and Friday 21st August respectively.
