Banville: Wexford are underdogs

Wexford's Stephen Banville
Wexford's Vodafone Player of the Month Stephen Banville insists that the Model County will be underdogs against Dublin in Sunday's Leinster SHC semi-final at Nowlan Park. Wexford have beaten the Dubs at the same stage in the past two years, but Banville fears that Dublin's NHL Division 1 experience could give them the edge this time around. "They are a very young team and they have a lot of pace, particularly in the forwards," said the big full forward, who bagged 2-2 in the Model County's first round win over Offaly. "David O'Callaghan is in great form at the moment and I would say a lot of hurling people in Ireland would put Dublin ahead of Wexford at the moment on what they have done in the league. "You saw how close they ran Kilkenny and Tipperary, who are supposed to be the two greatest teams in the country at the moment. Dublin is going to be a huge task for us."
