Volunteers Notes

June 15, 2009
It was disappointing end to the league for our footballers with both our teams losing their final fixtures. The first team lost 0-7 to 1-06 against a far more economical St. MaryÄôs Maudlintown. The second team fared no better against St. Josephs, losing 1-08 to 4-08. However, with both side recording opening round victories in the championship they can look forward to some big matches over the coming months. A revised scheduled has been released for our underage training. On Monday evening from 6-7pm there is U-14 boys football. Tuesday 6-7pm there is U-10 hurling. Wednesday evening sees U-14 hurling and U-12 football from 6-7 pm. U-10 football is every Thursday from 6-7pm. Friday hosts U-8 hurling and U-12 hurling from 6-7pm. The girls schedule remains unchanged with U-14 and U-16 Girls football train jointly twice a week. On Wednesday from 7-8pm and every Saturday morning >from 10.30 am to 12.
