Ryan reappointed in Wexford
November 21, 2008

Wexford manager Jason Ryan
Jason Ryan, who enjoyed a memorable first season in inter-county management, has been reappointed Wexford football boss for another year.
The former Waterford footballer received unanimous support to continue at this week's county board meeting. Ryan, who led the Slaneysiders to a National League Division 3 title and an All-Ireland semi-final appearance against all the odds, has signalled that his entire backroom team will be rejoining him for the season.
Meanwhile, Westmeath native Aidan O'Brien, who managed Wexford to their first ever Leinster under 21 final this year, has been named manager of the county minor football team. O'Brien, who has coached numerous successful Good Counsel, New Ross teams, actually turned down the senior post before it was eventually filled by Ryan this time last year.
