Ryan appointed Leinster football selector

Wexford manager Jason Ryan
Wexford supremo Jason Ryan has been appointed to the Leinster football backroom team for next month's Inter-provincial series.
The Waterford native, who enjoyed stunning success with the Model County in his first year at the helm, will link up with manager Val Andrews, who previously managed Cavan and Louth, and fellow selector Sean Dempsey, who was appointed Laois manager last week. This will mark the fourth year for Andrews and Dempsey to oversee Leinster's preparations.
Commenting on Ryan's appointment, Leinster Council chairman Seamus Howlin said: "Jason had a fantastic year with Wexford and we're delighted to have him on board for the Railway Cup."
The Leinster Council have also retained their hurling selection committee of former Wexford manager John Conran, and ex-Kilkenny and Offaly players Richie Power and Brian Whelahan.
