Naomh Eanna GAA Club will hold its annual U-8 Football tournament, sponsored by the Woods family for the second year running on Saturday the 4th of October in Pairc Eanna in Clonnatin, Gorey.   This year is promised to be a cracker, seeing Gorey out to defend their title from last year. There will be a parade around the pitch before the day begins wil teams sporting their club colours.     !2 teams from all over Ireland will compete in the tournament; from Wexford- Naomh Eanna, Starlights, Ferns, Glynn-Barntown, Castletown and Volunteers. From Wicklow-Arklow Geraldines. From Kildare- Sallins and Newbridge Sarsfields. From Carlow- Tinryland. From Dublin- Kilmacud Crokes and Erin go Bragh. The tournament will begin at 10 am and will run throughout the day with each team playing their games on different ares of the pitch, the final will be held in the afternoon.   The main Club Sponser is Staffords Bakery and a draw will be held in The Naomh Eanna Bar the evening of the tournament, The main sponsers of the draw are Brennans Hotel Group. Refreshments will be distributed to all participating teams and their management courtesy of Darren, Larry and Carol Cullen from the Naomh Eanna Bar. People are encouraged to come along for the day for the sport and craic on what promises to be a highly entertaining day for all, young and old. Tweet
