Wexford in race against time to host Leinster SFC clash

Wexford’s clash against Louth in the Leinster SFC fixed for Innovate Wexford Park on Sunday, May 12th may yet be moved to another ground.
The reason for this is that the county grounds is undergoing some badly needed remedial work, but the pitch is slow to respond to the repairs.
Following the final rounds of the Allianz NFL, Innovate Wexford Park was closed for the work in the confidence that it would be ready for the Louth game.
However, that is less likely now and with the game only ten days away, the Wexford County Board have to look at other options.
