The draws which have netted in excess of ?80,000, have enabled us to compliment the lotto funding to provide the excellent facilities which we now have. Facilities include, training pitch, floodlit walking track, new dressing rooms and an astro turf pitch. Congratulations to all concerned for their hard work and dedication. Membership The club reminds all players and all who use our facilities to ensure that they have their membership paid for 2008. Failure to do so can have serious implications regarding insurance. ACFL Div 6 Our second team continued their winning form with a hard fought victory over "Marty Whelan's" Maryland in the park during the week. Maryland, featuring a number of their TV celebrities, provided stiff competition and some very entertaining football. Final score: Rosemount 3-6, Maryland 1-9. U16 Our under 16 team had a home game on Thursday evening against Tyrellspass. After a much improved performance from their last game, they lost out by four points, with the result in the balance until the final minutes. Well done to club member, John Keane and the Westmeath senior team who had a well deserved win over Longford in the first game of the Leinster championship. Unfortunately our county minors, featuring David Malynn, lost out by 2 points to neighbours Offaly.
