Seó Spóirt launches on TG4

A live weekly magazine programme that's a must for sports fans as they prepare for the weekend's action. Seó Spóirt starts on TG4 on Friday 02 February at 8pm and it will be your one-stop shop for what's happening in the sporting world. The new show will be copresented by Micheál Ó Domhnaill, (already well known as the regular presenter of GAA Beo on TG4 for the past 7 years) and Gemma Ní Chionnaith a presenter with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta. They will be joined in studio by resident sports pundit Seán Bán Breathnach (SBB) who will be unveiling his views on upcoming sports events alongside a guest analyst each week. During this sporting Spring the team of Seó Spóirt will focus on the many major events - including rugby's RBS Six Nations Rugby Championship and the Heineken European Cup. The programme will also discuss the major international soccer competitions. Various GAA competitions will also be analysed. Among these are the Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues, AIB All-Ireland Club Championships, Ladies Football and the Colleges competitions with reports on the stories and controversies making the news. The viewers will be given a chance to air their opinions through texting and e-mailing and by calling the show. They will be given the opportunity to debate their opinion with the panel. The series will be produced by independent production company Sónta. Seó Spóirt- TG4 8pm from 02 February
