Acfl d2 Milltownpass vs St.Marys (sunday)
St. Marys made the short trip to Milltownpass to face there near neighbours in this d 2 encounter,With both sides looking ahead to championship next week end this was going to be a great game.Milltownpass started the strongest and really put the pressure on right from the word go and got one point from play and two from frees in the first 15 mins.It wasnt long before St.Marys got into this game and resonded themselves with a few scores.We seen some great passages of play in the first half and both teams hitting hard and really working well.St.Marys worked a ball up the field in the first half late on and eoin gorman was on the end of it to rocket the ball to the back of the milltownpass net before the break.We also got another point  to put 4 points between them at the break.The second half got underway and St.Marys got really stuck in straight away and noched on a score straight away and started to pull away but credit to Milltownpass they came back us and really started moving well but our defenders stood up and made them work for every score.St.Marys were dealt a blow when we lost sean lyster to a second yellow midway in the second half .Our lads really had to up there game now and that they did,We really attacted the game with  conviction and really got stuck in,The long range free taking and 45,s from Colin Gavin were just a joy to watch,He put over 2 45,s and a free from 50 yards out to keep St.Marys in cruise control nearing the end.Milltownpass were trowing everything into the game late on and it was the full back line of St.Marys that really were in control and worked every ball out and our half backs worked there lines well and very late on we were coming out and milltownpass were down to 14 also after getting a straight red  for a really heavy blow in the dying seconds,The game finished up and St.Marys were to take the points away from home in this crunch d2 game.St.Marys 1-08 - Milltownpass 0-07.

U16 League Kilbeggan/St.Josephs vs St.Marys (sunday morning)
These two sides locked horns in kilbeggan in this refixture game.Both sides sitting top of the table it was set to be a great encounter.It was a sunny Kilbeggan and St.Mary really did shine early on with some great work from the middle of the field From our lads.Paulie carpenter and Ned Cully were Taking control and giving some great ball in to the full forward line of Darragh Brunton and Mattew Rowden which were on there toes and taking there men on at every chance and Matthew was a joy to watch on the free taking too.Kilbeggan came strong and netted a goal mid way through the half and had a few other chances to repeat it again but our St.Marys defence stood strong and really worked as a unit and defended well and carried the ball with Great confidence throughout the first period.half time seen St.Marys ahead 3-10 - 1-04  at the break.The second half started and kilbeggan upted the anti and made changes to try get back into this game but yet again it was our defending That really had to work the socks off and the definitly did that and kept kilbeggan at bay and our lads were moving the ball well and really never gave up the intenisty.St.Marys were clearly the stronger outfit and to finished offed the league as winners on a score line of St.Marys 4-16 - Kilbeggan 2-07.

U14  League Ballcomoyle vs St.Marys
St.Marys made the long trip to the ballcomoyle gaa grounds to take them on in this second last game of the league for St.Marys.We were quick out of the blocks and really were working well from the word go and were putting over some fine scores early on and our forwards were really in control of this game taking there scores from some great angles and keeping the scoreboard ticking over.Our midfield partnership was in full flight and working every part of the field and defending when needed and in the forwards for support also.This game was really over at half time and it gave st.marys a chance to Give some of there subs a chance to shine and that they did.This was a great team preformance and the lads will build on this great win going forward,final score St.Marys 7-16 - Ballcomoyle 2-06.

U12 LEAGUE Millmore Gaels vs St.Marys
These two sides met in milltown last wednesday and St.Marys knew they had to work hard to take the points here.Both sides started strong and we got our selves on the scoreboard early and our forwards were out in front for every ball and kept pilling on the pressure but luckily for millmore the goalkeeper pulled off some great saves in the first half and with the cross bar coming to there saviour it could have been worse and we were in control up to the break,we were against the stiff breeze in the second half and had to deal with alot of early pressure from millmore gaels in the second period but our midfield and defence were rock solid and made them work for any thing they got and our forwards were taking the pressure off with some great scores,St.Marys ranout winners 4-05 - millmore gaels 2-00.
