Westmeath's Niall O'Brien

Castletown-Geoghegan forward Niall O'Brien has stressed that they will be taking nothing for granted in their SHC semi-final clash against Castlepollard.

Despite losing to the blue and golds in the group stages of the campaign, Castletown are still strong favourites to advance to the final and continue their defence of the title.

O'Brien who missed that defeat earlier in the year, feels that Pollard have the players that can cause them problems.

"Castlepollard have the players to cause an upset and we know that if we don't play up to the required standards, they can punish us," O'Brien told the Westmeath Examiner.

"Our aim at the start of the year was to get to the semi-final. We know that we have to play to the top of our potential."
