Under 14 Match Report
We played The Downs Under 14s at home on Friday 14th June. This was our last league game at home and the team were determined to win it. The game was played in awful conditions, with strong wind and heavy rain all through. We had astrong wind at our back for the first half, the lads used it to our advantage and led well at half time, Milltownpass 2-12, The Downs 1-1. The Downs rallied well in the second half, and we went through a tough spell as the Downs applied pressure and scored well. But the lads kept going and finished the strongest team . The Final score was Milltownpass 5-13 The Downs 3-5.
