London manager Eamonn Phelan admits he is delighted to be facing Westmeath at Ruislip.

The exiles take on the Leinster side in the preliminary round of the All-Ireland hurling qualifiers on Saturday week.

And London are at home for this clash, which Phelan explained to the Irish Post, counts for a lot.

"We have been back and forth a lot this year and it's been a long season," said Phelan. "It has been a long season. We are delighted to be in Ruislip; we wanted to be at home and have that advantage. It is not a whole lot, but it is nice to have it." Tweet
