The Garrycastle club have begun a major project to redevelop their grounds.

The former Leinster club SF champions are to new underage training and playing facilities over the course of the next 12 months.

Local contractor Des Nally Civil Engineering Contracts has successfully tendered for the work and they have already begun phase one of the project.

This will take four months to complete and the new pitch should be ready for early next year.

The club will be hosting a number of fundraising events over the coming months in order to help finance the development work. Tweet
