Turin Hurling Club Notes

Turin 5k Run
We held our 5K run last Sunday. We had a healthy crowd of runners and walkers and glorious weather conditions. Well done to all who took part. All funds raised go to underage hurling in the club. First five runners home and times were: Kieran Nolan 18:51, Stephen Harte 19:03, Mel Carthy 19:06, Neil McDermott 19:51 and Jody Murray 20:00. Full results and times on club website and in paper next week.

Intermediate Hurling
We face Clonkill in the next round of the Intermediate Championship next Sunday 16th at 7pm in Cusack Park. All support welcome.

Underage Hurling
Underage Hurling for Under 6 to Under 16 continues this Tuesday 11th June at 6:30pm sharp in the park. New players always welcome. Players are encouraged to arrive early. The most improved players are those who always attend training.

Underage blitz
The Under 8 and Under 6 hurlers are playing a blitz on Friday 14th June in Turin. All players please be there for 7pm.

Turin GAA Summer Camp
We will be holding a 3 day Hurling & Camogie camp in July in Turin along with St Munna's for all children from the local area - boys and girls. July 10th, 11th and 12th are the dates and camp will run from 10am - 2:30pm.

Coaching Visit
Turin are delighted to announce that one of the top hurling coaches in the country, Wexford legend George O'Connor will visit Turin on Thursday June 27th. George will put one of our underage squads through their paces. More details to follow.

Under 10s
The Robert Nea Engineering sponsored Under 10s had a good win against Ringtown last week. Squad: James Boyhan, Sean Leech, Oliver McClair, Jack Geoghegan, Ciaran Geraghty, Declan McGrath, Micheál Tiernan, David Aughey, Ciarán Kiernan, Kevin Tiernan, Josh Lynch, Craig Reville, Colin Smyth, Rory Matthews, Robert L'Estrange.
