Championship
We played Mullingar Shamrocks on Saturday last in Cusack Park in our second outing in the championship. It was a perfect evening for a game of football with only a small breeze. Both teams exchanged scores early on with Joe, Callum, Kieran and David all getting on the scoreboard in the first half. We led going in at halftime 6-4. We had a great performance all over the pitch in the first half. Mullingar got off to the perfect start in the second half with an early goal. We only managed to score twice in the second half with points from John and Callum, although we were very unlucky missing two goal chances and hitting the post 5 times throughout the game. Final score: Mullingar Shamrocks 1-9 Maryland 0-8.

Division 1 Fixture

We are due to play Bunbrosna on Sunday next in Drumraney. A must win game to secure our Division 1 status. All support is very welcome
