January 30, 2012Condolences:
Patricia(Patsy) O'Neill, late of Dublin Road, Castlepollard, sadly passed away on Friday 27th January. Patsy was a very loyal supporter of the Bingo each Sunday night and she, along with her husband Eugene, generously supported Castlepollard Hurling Club and numerous events in the community. Deepest sympathies to her family, may she rest in peace.
Bingo
Our weekly bingo continues every Sunday night at 8.30pm in the hurling complex. The jackpot was not won on Sunday 29th January and now stands at €12,600, awaiting a lucky winner.
Indoor Hurling
Indoor hurling for Under 8s and Under 10s continues every Tuesday night, from 6pm until 7pm in the complex. All new members welcome.
Training for U12, U14 & U16s continues on Monday evenings from 6-7pm. Players please return registration forms a.s.a.p.
Underage Disco
There will be an underage disco in the complex on Friday 10th Feb.
Camogie
The Camogie club held their AGM on Thursday 26th January and a new committee was elected on the night. A sincere thank you to the outgoing committee re for all their hard work. Membership registration for 2012 will take place at the GAA complex on the Monday 20th February (copy of birth cert is required) with training resuming on Wednesday 20th February.
Lotto Draw:
Numbers drawn: 7,12,13,14. There was no jackpot winner. The 6 x €25 winners were:

Fancy Dress:
Fancy dress night in McCormack's Bar on Saturday 11th February (Valentine's Weekend). There will be prizes for best costume and spot prizes on the night, so throw on your best costume and join us for a great night.
Drive-in Bingo:
Due to popular demand plans are in place for our 2nd 'Drive-In' Bingo for April.
