Division 2
On Sunday 28th February we played our second game of the league away to Milltownpass. Despite a promising start we faded badly in the 2nd quarter and conceded a soft goal. We eventually went in level at half time on a scoreline of 1-0 to 0-3. The 2nd half resumed to the same pattern as the first with both defences well on top. The turning point proved to be a Miltownpass penalty with ten minutes remaining which was well converted to give the home side a three point advantage. A late point from Ronan Doolin proved to be our only consolation. Overall this was an extremely poor display with only Eanna Doolin and Kevin Brazil performing well. The final score read 2-2 to 0-6. Presentation Night
The club is holding a social and medal presentation on Saturday 6th March. Medals will be presented for the winning of Divisions 3 and 7 in 2009. A buffet will be provided and food is served at 10pm. Tickets are 20 euro and are available from all club members. Tweet
