King of The Ring Boxing Tournament Preparations for our boxing tournament are in full swing and tickets have been issued for all club members to sell. The fundraiser will take place on Saturday 6th February 2010 in the Mullingar Park Hotel. Tickets are currently on sale from most club members costing 10. As well as been an important fundraiser, this promises to be a very interesting night's entertainment and we hope that all members and supporters will both support and promote this event. Assistance will be required on the night of the boxing tournament in order to make it a smooth running event so if you are asked to assist please do so. Alternatively contact Ciaran McKenna (087 8324079) if you wish to make yourself available to help out on the night. The following people have volunteered to box on the night and all have commenced training under the guidance of boxing coach David Fitzpatrick - Kieran Smith, David Mitchell, Damien Kiernan, Kyle McGuire, Ciaran McCormack, Keith Shanley, John Shaw, Aidan Davitt, Eddie Moore, Johnny Corcoran, Barry Kennedy, Ross Brady, Keith Moore, Colin Delaney, Terry Gavin and Ciaran Curley. We hope to add two more names to the list shortly in order to have 9 bouts on the night. There may also be a surprise bout on the night - watch this space.
