Training for club players working in Dublin

January 21, 2010
Faced with living or working in Dublin, away from home and still maintaining loyalty to your clubs/counties at home? The biggest problem faced is gaining access to regular high quality training sessions. While training with a Dublin club seems like a good solution, the onset of mid week Dublin league matches will result in light training on Monday, no training Wednesday or Thursday (due to match) and so the player returns home at weekend having completed 0 collective training sessions mid-week. The solution - TGT (Tranáil Gan Taisteal) Gaelic football Training Centres. - Designed exclusively for players who live and work in Dublin but continue to play with their clubs at home. - Starting back on Tuesday 2nd February 2010 - Involves two high quality intense sessions per week using sport specific training methods. - Mini-Games, Skill drills and fitness development with and without ball. - Each player's attendance and performance is tracked and reported - Clubs can guarantee their players complete quality midweek sessions throughout the season - returning fit and sharp for action at weekends - Removes long, dangerous and exhausting mid-week round trips to home and back to Dublin for work late at night. - Training camps will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at a set time. - Monday and Wednesday options will also be considered if required. - Camps are based in a central location to suit both northside and southside players. - Places are filled on a first come first served basis. All interested players should pre-book their place at the centre before Tuesday 26th January. Players who arrive without prior notification or contact will not be accommodated at any session. For bookings or further details on location and starting dates for the football centre please contact Patrick Stephens by email at [email protected]
