Intermediate Championship CFCW 0-09 Ballymore 1-4 Our intermediate team defeated Ballymore in our fourth championship game in Lomans on Sunday last. We ran out winners on the day by 2 points. In the first half our lads were on top for long spells and played some good football. At times the final pass let us down where maybe a goal chance was on but we lead by 4 points to one at half time. Our scores came from Kevin Brazil(3) and Niall Kilcoyne. Half Time:CFCW 0-4, Ballymore 0-1 In the second half Ballymore fought hard and got an early goal which brought the sides level. Finea replied with two scores from Niall kilcoyne before Ballymore replied with two points to draw the game again. Ryan Plunkett then raised the white flag but Ballymore replied again to leave nothing between the teams. Towards the end Kilcoyne got two more points to leave Finea two ahead at the final whistle. Overall this was a good victory for the lads, in which they played some good football at times. They now have four wins from four but face a tough final game on Thursday the 28th of August against Maryland who also a hundred percent record so far.
