Results from the Past Week

Well done to the u12s who had a great win on Wednesday evening against St.Joseph’s

Hard luck to the u14s who were bet by Mullingar Shamrocks on Thursday evening.

Well done to the u10's who won the Matt Slevin Tournament on Saturday. It was a great morning for the boys and they were delighted to bring home the cup.

Well done to the u17’s who bet Clann Braonan on Saturday in the u17 championship knockout.

Senior Championship

Hard luck to the senior men who were bet by Mullingar Shamrocks on Sunday evening in the championship quarter-final. Final score 3-7 to 0-10. The score does not represent good effort, team work and determination that was on show in Cusack Park. The senior men’s panel and their management team are to be commended for their continuous commitment, training, effort and team work since senior training began last January. It was a great achievement to reach this stage of the championship and they will now play in Group 1 of the senior championship 2020.

Fixtures for the week

Best of luck to the minors who play Tubberclair in the championship semi-final on Wednesday 11th of September in Tubberclair at 6.30pm.

Couch to 5k

Couch to 5k training will commence to on Tuesday 1st of October at 7.30pm on the walking track. For non-members of the walking track this training programme will be  €20.

Lotto

The lotto draw numbers from Monday 2nd of September were 6, 17, 18 and 30. There was no jackpot winner. Match 3 winners were Angie & Violet, Caroline Glynn, P.Cronin, Joe Bracken and Cepta Plunkett. Well done to them they won €40 each.

 

Lucky First Goal

The official time of the first goal in the All Ireland on the 1st of September was 18.12. The winning ticket must be presented to the committee before the 1st of October to claim the cash prize of €500.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Coralstown/Kinnegad ladies and their management who after their fifth attempt, deservedly claimed the title of Westmeath Intermediate Champions of 2019 last Saturday.

Congratulations to all involved with Westmeath Camogie GAA on winning the Intermediate All Ireland final last Sunday.
