2019 Season Begins
The Senior men began back training for the 2019 year ahead. Following on from promotion from division 6 of the league, there was a great eagerness and enthusiasm on Friday night. Numbers were great, and we welcomed back some players that were out with injuries last year and some new faces were also present. The future is looking bright and so too the talent. We want to wish the new management team of Aidan Lennon, Stephen Sheil and Neil Keegan the very best of luck for 2019 and hopefully we can continue and improve on the past number of years.
Lotto - €10,000 Jackpot
Our most recent draw took place on Sunday night in Ryan’s of Horseleap. We had no winner of the Jackpot which still stands at €10,000. We also have a parallel jackpot running and its now at €1,000.
The numbers drawn were 5, 7, 16, and 23. We had 3 match 3 winners – Billy & Ann Fitzgerald, LLEC c/o Eileen McCormack and Padraig Seery. Well Done to all!
Operation Transformation
We had a great turn out for our weekly Community Walk in conjunction with RTE’s hit TV show ‘Operation Transformation’. The entire community were invited to take part and sure enough they did. We had huge number for the first number of weeks and we hope to add more to them in the future weeks. The Walk takes place at the Streamstown/Horseleap Community Centre every Wednesday evening from 7.00PM until 8.00PM. Hope to see you all there!

Underage
We had a very successful Registration Evening for all our underage children last weekend. There was an enormous welcome to everyone who attended, and the entire evening was a roaring success. We also had a football boot swap table on the evening, where old boots that were no longer required, were brought down on the evening and swapped for another pair. A lot of families took advantage of this and not only did parents save some hard-earned cash, but their children went home with a new pair of boots.
