Scor na nOg quiz
Best wishes are extended to Lisa Ennis, Stephanie Scally, Mark Wrafter and Aideen Tehan in the Scor na nOg Tráth na gCeist / Quiz which takes place in the Horseleap / Streamstown Community Centre this Friday evening, January 11. Our quiz team has put in a lot of preparatory work under the guidance of Anne-Marie Scally and are hoping to earn the right to represent Westmeath at the All-Ireland finals next month.
We are also looking for participants in Scor Sinsear which commences shortly. There are seven different disciplines, including Solo Singing, Ballad Group, Recitation, Set Dancing and Tráth na gCeist. Contact Fiona Fennell on 087 9458045 for more details.
Foundation Coaching Course
A football foundation coaching course focusing on theory and practical will take place this Wednesday, January 9 from 7pm to 9.30pm in the Killucan GAA Clubhouse. This course would be of great benefit to anyone who is starting their coaching career or is interested in getting involved in underage coaching in our club.
Lotto
Last week's lucky numbers were 7, 9,10 and 14. Christy and Dympna from Rahugh were the only Match 3 winner. This week's draw takes place in McNamara's with the jackpot standing at €15,000. Tickets, costing €2, can be purchased locally. Thank you for your continued support.
