St Malachy's club notes

December 17, 2018

AGM

The Annual General Meeting took place on Sunday evening last, with chairperson Ciaran Glennon getting through all the different aspects of the agenda. There was a great crowd, and many sent their apologies which was a positive end of 2018 and start to 2019. The executive for the coming year has very few changes, with chairperson Ciaran Glennon staying in place with Tommy Lynch as his vice-chairman. Ciaran Kirby staying on as secretary, Damien Grennan as his assistant, and Tom Mullarkey as treasurer and Frank Kiernan picking up the reigns as assistant treasurer. Sinéad Kiernan is remaining as PRO and Dermot Garvin and Johnny Carey remaining as County Board Delegates and with Ethel Wallace as Health and Wellbeing officer. If anyone wishes to contact her, do not hesitate to do so.

Also, we wish to send our best wishes to the new management under the leadership of Colm Geoghegan. Colm has been a life-long stalwart within the club and knows the team, set up and community well. We wish him and his management team all the best for the upcoming year and we encourage the community to get behind him and the lads for 2019!
