Under 12 Garrycastle Tournament

Lilliput Gaels 4.11
Milltownpass 3.02

Our U12 team had a great win in the Garrycastle final on Thursday evening last in  wet  conditions under lights in Garrycastle. After a great first half of end to end football we held a slender three point lead and it looked to be anyone's game at that stage. We really turned on the style in the second half and after several brilliantly worked scores we ran out deserving winners.

Under 16 Division 3 Semi Final

Lilliput Gaels 7-16 Multyfarnham 2-06
Our U16 footballers took on Multyfarnham in the semi-final of the championship on Saturday last in Ballinagore in ideal weather for football. An early goal settled the nerves of our lads and they continued to take the game to Multy in the opening half and we went in at half time with a healthy lead. Multy came out a much improved side in the second half and helped themselves to some well worked scores but Lilliput Gaels regained their composure in the final quarter to run out easy winners in the end. Congrats to all involved with this fine panel of players and we look forward to the final where we take on Inny Gaels.
