Under 10s Blitz

The mighty Castledaly Under 10 team played in the legendary Larry

Nugent Cup hosted by Caulry last weekend where we competed in group

games against Maryland/Tang, Rosemount and Caulry (with wins in last

two) before playing Garrycastle in the Shield Final.   Despite our

best efforts we finished runner up by a couple of scores, but all

players got plenty of game time.

This is the final game of the year for this age group and marks the

end of the season for our Mighty Under 6/8/10 teams and was a fine

signing off to a memorable and historic sporting year.

Huge thanks to Caulry GAA as hosts for their kind hospitality and to

all our neighbouring sports clubs this year for their sportsmanship.

 

Senior and Under Age training may be finished but our

Under 20s football competition has just begun, involving many of our

players who featured on our senior competition this year, and we wish

them best of luck as they face local rivals Moate in the final 16.

 

Castledaly Fit Club continues each Monday Wednesday and Friday with

ladies classes at 7pm & gents at 8pm. New members always welcome.

 

It has been a busy few weeks traveling around the local community to

our wonderful supporters, collecting items for auction at our

Castledaly Annual Monster Auction Sunday 4th November in Moate

Community Centre.  We are so so grateful to each and everyone and we
