Both sides served up an entertaining hours football and as the saying goes goals change games and so it was here. There was nothing much between the sides when Eoghan Kelly pulled on a loose ball sending it to the net and he was also at the end of a good move in the second half finishing with a left footed volley this time to the corner. Other good performances from Damian Byrne keeping a clean sheet, Rob Gorman doing well around the middle and the constant threat up front from Eoghan Kelly, Cian Bradley, Paul Sheridan and in particular John Corbally.

Panel; D Byrne, D Claffey, A Gorman, D Mullins, C Claffey, J Fannin, P Gorman, R Gorman, R Conway, E Kelly, C Bradley, J Bracken, P Sheridan, J Corbally, C Sheridan C O Brien, N Hamm, D McArdle, G Hurley.
