Westmeath Feile Hurling Final

Na Piarsaigh Under 14 hurlers play in the Westmeath Feile final in Cusack Park on next Sunday 20th May at 5pm. This squad of players have been working very hard and deserve your support. We hope all Turin and Na Piarsaigh supporters will get along and get behind the whole squad!
 

Feile 5K Run/Walk

Saturday 19th May at 6pm in Collinstown is the day and time for our main Feile 5K Run/Walk fundraiser. Everyone is welcome to take part, entry on the day: adults €10, children €5, €20 for family. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Please support this event. 
 

The Glenidan Residents Association are also having an 80's Disco Night on Saturday 19th May in Doynes Pub, Glenidan with DJ and raffle. Come along and enjoy this social occasion for all families and members as we prepare to host the National Feile weekend. All welcome!
 

Pitch Maintenance

Please note that Turin pitch is closed due to essential pitch maintenance.

This will be in effect until next weekend when it will be inspected. 
 

Thanks to all team mentors and members for their co-operation at this busy time. 
 

Big thanks to Aiden O'Neill, Damien Keogh, John Coroon and others for giving their time to help carry out these works. 
 

We'll see the benefit of it all in the coming months!
 

UNDERAGE TRAINING

Turin Under 6s (beginners) and Under 8s hurling training on Friday evenings at 6:30pm in McCabe Park

Turin Under 10s train Thursday evenings. 
 

New players and returning players are always welcome. We have helmets and hurleys to try out!
 

Helmets are also available to order and if getting a hurley remember - short and light!
 

Na Piarsaigh U14 and and U12 will be training on most Tuesdays with venue tbc by text. 
 

All underage players need to attend training to improve. Children should get out in the garden and practice.

Another win for our adult junior hurlers in this competition. 
 

REGISTRATION 
 

Registration can be paid at any training session (or games) to our Underage Secretary Rachel McGrath. €20 per child or €50 family, €50 for adult players. Non registered players are not covered for insurance. Please get this sorted this week as a lot of people have not paid. 
 

FEILE FUNDRAISING
 

We are doing a clothes collection on weekend of26/27 May.

Time to get all those unwanted items of clothing, shoes, belts, ties, handbags, curtains, towels, bed linen into a refuse sack and out of the house!

Best of luck to those sitting college exams and those preparing for exams in June. We wish you every success and remember the hurling field is a great break from the hard work for an hour. 
 

Tractor Run

Christy Doyle Memorial tractor run in association with Turin Hurling Club will take place on Sunday June 3rd at 11pm from McCabe Turin. Refreshments will be served in Jimmys Rathwire. A Donation will be made to Mullingar MRI Unit.
 

Condolences
