Club Lotto

Please support our Club Lotto as this supports the day to day costs of running the club. Club lotto envelopes can be got from any of the local shops and pubs, at Bingo on Monday nights or from any of the committee members. The Lotto draw takes place every Monday night during bingo in the local Community Centre. The Cost is just €2 a ticket. Currently the Jackpot stands at €2,670. There was no winner of last weeks jackpot where the winning numbers were 6,16,22 and 27. 20 euro winners on the night were Annie Martin, Maggie Devine and Evelyn McGuinness - well done to all

Juvenile Coaching

With a new season of Juvenile football about to start we are on the look out to recruit new coaches for the year ahead. If you are in a position to help out in any little way with any of our teams from under 6's right up to under 18's please contact our Secretary Marie on 0860530539 or any committee member. Experience is not necessary and training will be given so please come on board if you can for a very worthwhile experience.

Juvenile Registration day

Due to the weather conditions, we had to cancel our Registration Day. Weather permitting, we will now be having it this coming Saturday from 11am to 1pm at the club grounds in Clonmellon. Juvenile players are urged to attend and to bring their playing gear as there will be a kick about on the day.

Nursery programme aimed at boys in Junior Infants class

The club is starting a 6 week nursery programme specifically for boys in junior infants class. Due to last Fridays session being cancelled due to the weather, its now starting this coming Fridayevening March 9nd from 7-7:45pm in the Clonmellon Community Center. Its 2 euro per child per night to cover the expenses for the hall and annual membership of 20 euro (to cover Insurance) can be paid on the 1st night also. Players to wear runners and to bring a drink each night.

Juvenile training

Training for our U-14's, 16's and Minors is now well under way. Texts will be sent out each week with details. If you are not getting these texts please contact our secretary Marie on 0860530539 or message our facebook page and we will rectify the problem. U-8 up to U-12 training will be starting over the next few weeks. Keep an eye on our facebook page for details.

Adult Football season starting this coming Sunday

Our 2018 league campaign kicks off this coming Sunday morning, March 11th with a home game in Clonmellon against Milltownpass at 11am. Please pop down and shout on the lads in their 1st game of the year.

Snowman competition

During the bad weather we ran a snowman building competition via our Facebook page. Well done to the winner Sarah Cullen McCormack and family. Well done Sarah and co.

A big St. Paul's shout out to Jenny Dolan and Paddy on the birth of their baby boy Tyler Jake last week. No doubt a future St. Paul's star in the making!

Best of luck

We were saddened to hear about the fire that destroyed McCormacks Stores premises in Delvin last week. We wish john and the rest of the McCormack family the very best of luck going forward.

St. Pauls GFC would like to offer its sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Teresa Briody, late of Archerstown Delvin who passed away recently. May she rest in peace.
