Waterford manager Tom McGlinchey believes that there is plenty of motivation within the squad.

Following the drubbing at the hands of Tipperary in the Munster SFC, Waterford now turn their attention to the qualifiers and a meeting with Offaly.

The Deise record in the qualifiers is poor with only one win in the last 14 years and that came against London in 2011.

However, McGlinchey stressed to the Waterford News & Star that the players know they are not as bad as their performance against Tipp suggests.

"That's a big incentive. You want to redeem what happened two weeks ago and put in a performance. Anyone who would have followed the footballers throughout the year would have known that the performance against Tipperary wouldn't have been a true reflection on other games they have played.

"For the players themselves, they are eager to get a chance to redeem themselves and hopefully they will on June 20th."
