Waterford minor manager Derek Lyons feels that if they are to win the Munster MHC title, then they must stop conceding goals.

The Déise conceded three goals in last Sunday's draw against Limerick, while Shane Ryan's late three-pointer earned them another tilt in the title.

The replay is set for next Tuesday and Lyons admitted to the Waterford News & Star that there is certainly room for improvement in their performance.

"We would be concerned about the goals; we will have to address that. There were other areas of the game where we were stronger than Limerick and I'm sure they will be concerned about the way that we finished.

"There's great intensity about the lads and the work rate and the honesty they gave is incredible and that's probably the best word to describe them." Tweet
