May 10, 2012
Once again all eyes will be on the senior hurling championship as round two gets underway.
Following the first round of matches last weekend, clubs are in a better position to see where they are at this time of year.
There are three games down for decision on Saturday and a further three on Sunday. In Group 2, Fourmilewater and De La Salle go head to head at Fraher field. Both sides opened the campaign with wins.
Tallow will also be looking to build on their first round win when they take on Roanmore, who lost to Fourmilewater. This is the second game of a doubleheader in Fraher Field.
Walsh Park is the venue for the meeting of Abbeyside and Passage with the former going down to Ballygunner, while Passage defeated Ballyduff Upper.
Then on Sunday, Walsh Park hosts a doubleheader as Mount Sion look for their first win against Dunhill, while Ballygunner will be hoping to make it two wins out of two against Dungarvan.
The action comes to an end at Fraher Field on Sunday evening when Lismore take on Ballyduff Upper.
