The continued absence of Noel Connors from action casts doubt over his county participation.

Connors failed to line out for his club Passage in last weekend's SHC opener giving him little time to be ready for the Munster championship as he recovers from injury.

The loss of Connors has been compounded by the fact that Padraic O'Mahony has also been sidelined for three months, leaving manager Michael Ryan with a number of problems ahead of the Clare match. Tweet
