Waterford senior hurlers continue their preparations for the coming year as they player W.I.T in a challenge this weekend.

The match will take place in Carraiganore on Saturday evening and new manager Michael Ryan will once again run the rule of a number of new players.

Waterford I.T will have five county panellists in their ranks and the challenge is sure to be a good test for Ryan's charges.

The Dieses begin their competitive campaign next month when they take on U.C.C in the Waterford Crystal Cup on February 5th. Tweet
