John Mullane is expected to return to the Waterford side for Sunday's big Allianz National League meeting with Cork.

Mullane has sat out the Deise's opening three league games due to his involvement in the All-Ireland senior club championship with De La Salle.

He returned to training with Davy Fitzgerald's panel in recent days and is expected to be fast-tracked into the side for this weekend's Fraher Field encounter, while clubmate Kevin Moran could also return.

Ken McGrath, who returned to action as a substitute against Tipperary last Saturday, could also feature from the start, but goalkeeper Clinton Hennessy and midfielder Shane O'Sullivan are suspended as a result of their red cards at Semple Stadium and Eoin Kelly is not expected to make an appearance.
