Ballinacourty 3-14 Killrossanty 0-7 Ballinacourty defended their county junior football crown with ease last Saturday after seeing off the challenge of Killrossanty with a massive 16 points to spare at Bohadoon. The Champions took in a distinct 3-7 to 0-2 lead at the half-time interval thanks to goals from Mark Fives, Mark Ferncombe and James O'Mahony. In the second-half the winners eased off considerably, but still managed to outscore their opponents 0-7 to 0-5. Killrossanty kept battling away throughout the second half-hour, but Ballinacourty demonstrated why they would go on to defend their title successfully popping over some more fine scores from Patrick Lynch and Mark Fives.
