Coggins: we're ambitious

London manager Paul Coggins believes the exiles have ambitions to do well this year.
Following on from last year's historic win over Fermanagh in the All-Ireland qualifiers, expectations in London have increased, but Coggins stressed that the players themselves have real ambitions.
Many of them have been quoted in the press as targeting three wins in the league, something that has evaded the Exiles for many years, and now Coggins has thrown down the gauntlet to his players and urged them to their talking on the pitch, starting with Sunday's league opener against Fermanagh at Ruislip.
"The players have the ambition, and that's half the battle, but then they have to do something about that ambition," Coggins stressed to the Irish Post.
"I believe they're going to do that because I think we have a very good squad. The expectation is there and we're happy about that because we want to be known as a team that's able to compete. If there's expectation there, we have absolutely no problem with that."
