St. Benedicts Harps GAA (Leeds) Notes

St. Benedicts Harps in Leeds have started the 2010 season with a Pennine League game with St. Peter's with a closely fought four point defeat. Training for the open-age continues at Weetwood (LS16 5PS) at 7.30pm on Thusrday evenings. We have to make a small charge as we are charged for the hire. Our next game is against Young Irelands in the Yorkshire Junior League on March 21 at Scott Hall Road, and the next Pennine League is set for March 28 in Chester against St. Patrick's. Under-age training resumes at Beeston on March 20 at 2pm. St. Patrick's Day Parade in Leeds on March 14 - meeting in Millennium Square at 10.30. There will be a bag-pack at Morrison's in Hunslet on March 27 followed by our annual Presentation at the Leeds Irish Centre. Among teams to be recognised are the under 11's and 14's as well as the under 21's and Junior League winners for their succesful 2009 season.
