Looking to play GAA in Manchester?
February 05, 2010
St. Brendan's GAA club in Manchester are back in the top flight of Lancashire Senior Football after a brief absence.
A recruitment drive in the Winter of 2008 saw a number of new players join the club, and St Brendan's collected 2 cups in the 2009 season, the Penine League Division 2 and the Wolfetone Cup, making themselves the only club in Manchester to pick up any silverwear.
In 2010 St Brendan's will look to consolidate their position as a force to be reckoned with by challenging for Championship and League honours. With several more new off-season additions and a promising bunch of up and coming U16 and minor players breaking through there are exciting times ahead for the club. St Brendan's can now boast to have a number of players with Intercounty football experience at minor, U21, and Senior Levels.
If you are working or studying in the Manchester area, or are considering moving there in the future you will be more than welcome to join our ambitious club. Players of all abilities are welcome. The club is happy to help out with employment, accommodation, and transport of potential players to and from training.
